National Day of Prayer

In the middle school and high school, Mr. Reardon and Mr. McGuyre facilitated the national day of prayer chapel assembly on May 3, 2012. During this time students got into smaller groups to pray for our country, our leaders, our school and each other. Elementary teachers also guided their students in prayer. It was our privilege to pray in school on this day of national prayer.

Getting Ready for Graduation

The seniors did their annual and traditional walk through after receiving their caps and gowns for graduation the week before Spring break. They love to come through the classes and interrupt them on this day flaunting the fact that they are almost done. The class of 2012 will graduate on June 9, 2012.

Basketball State Champions

East Linn's Varsity Boys basketball team played Western Mennonite in the biggest game of the season for the state championship in Pendleton, Oregon. Nearly all night it stayed a one sided game for Western Mennonite. The game was rough but we still won with a close score of 36 to 32, keeping our title as number one in the league. It was the first time East Linn Christian won a state championship in Boys Basketball.
